FAQ
Sized right, and safe to destroy
Loops, materials, sizing and how often a toy should be replaced.
Ordering and delivery
What does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Free on orders of ₹999 and above, otherwise a flat ₹59 anywhere in India. We pack within 1–2 business days in Hyderabad and transit runs 3–8 business days — three to five days to a metro, five to eight days further out. Door to door, plan for 4–10 business days.
How can I pay?
UPI in advance, or Cash on Delivery. Cards are not accepted — no credit card payments, no debit card payments, and no PayPal.
How do I track my order?
A tracking link is emailed and texted to you on the day of dispatch. Courier scans can lag a day, especially over a weekend.
Returns and problems
Can I return something I have changed my mind about?
Yes, within 10 days of delivery, provided it is unused and still in its original packaging with the invoice. Full conditions are on the Refund and Returns Policy page.
What if it arrives broken or does not work?
Film the unboxing, then tell us within 48 hours. We replace it or refund it in full and we pay the return shipping. To be clear about what that is: a replacement route for an item that arrived damaged or dead, not a six-month or manufacturer warranty, and we do not claim to offer one.
Toys, foraging and safety
My bird destroys these in days. Is that normal?
That is the point. Shredding and foraging are how a parrot fills its day, and a toy that lasts forever is a toy being ignored. Rotate three or four rather than leaving the same ones up for months.
Which materials are safe?
Untreated wood, sisal, paper, food-grade dye and stainless or nickel-plated hardware. Avoid zinc and galvanised clips, varnished wood and cotton rope that frays into loops — the last one is the most common injury we hear about.
How do I size a toy?
Match it to beak strength, not cage size. A budgie toy in a conure cage is reduced to small swallowable pieces in minutes. Each listing states the species range.
When should I throw a toy away?
When the pieces are small enough to swallow, when rope has frayed into loops, or when a clip has worn thin. Those are the three points at which a toy stops being enrichment and becomes a hazard.
